Did you know the last time the UK faced
a financial crisis David Cameron was a special economic advisor to the then
Tory chancellor Norman Lamont.
Cameron got it wrong then as well.
If ever a picture could sum a person up ?
David Cameron pretending to be green, by cycling to work while he gets his chauffeur to drive in his documents & suit. Taxpayers pay for car and apparently he only bikes it to work on Wednesday's. Most people who cycle to work don't have a car to follow them in with their paperwork.
- Cameron has been wrong on every major economic decision.
- Cameron was wrong on opposing independence to the Bank of England.
- Cameron was wrong on opposing the minimum wage.
- Cameron was wrong on opposing the saving of Northern Rock.
- Cameron was wrong on wanting to cut investment during a recession.
- Cameron was wrong to blame ‘big government’ for the recession, not the bankers.
During that mess they used up 75% of the country's reserves trying to prop up sterling, during what came to be called
'Black Wednesday'.
Yet again, the same old tories have demonstrated how little they've changed.
Recently a Tory MP blocked a bill aimed at tackling loan sharks in developing countries, known as 'Vulture Funds', which was going through Parliament.
Is this what they mean by a changed tory party & 'compassionate' conservatism ? to read the article.
The Tory MP who blocked the bill has since been identified as Christopher Chope. who helped steer through the Poll Tax under Margaret Thatcher in
the 1980's.
