Cameron backs council house demolitions.
Tory controlled Hammersmith & Fulham is now clearing social housing estates and and scrapping secure tenancy rights. This is the Tory Party's policy approach to social housing in action. No caring 'compassionate' conservatism here, just the same old nasty party. .
Given what is going on in Hammersmith and Fulham and tory pary policy towards social housing, what is the future for secure tenants in Halton, now the Tory & Lib Dem coalition is in government ?

Slick David Cameron's 'Nasty Party' hasn't changed.
Out-of-touch David Cameron will pack Parliament with an elite gang of 21 Old Etonians after the election, according to this week's Sunday Mirror investigation of Conservative candidates tipped to win seats shows almost HALF went to private schools.
Cameron has also loaded his list of chosen candidates with old boys from his own exclusive school – £28,851-a-year Eton College.
This makes a mockery of Cameron’s claim that he has made the Tories representative of modern Britain.
The Mirror looked at 162 new Conservative candidates standing in safe seats or battlegrounds the party hopes to win.
Yet of the 96 whose secondary education could be established, 46 per cent went to private schools, a quarter went to grammars and less than a third went to a comprehensive. The figures are in stark contrast with education for most, with just seven per cent of children attending private schools.
Cameron, who already has 14 Old Etonians around him on the Tory benches, is likely to be joined by yet more former pupils of elite schools. They include former pupils of Harrow, Radley College, Millfield, Charterhouse, Marlborough, Stowe and Winchester
It’s the same old Tories – riddled with elitism. This shows just how little the Conservative Party has changed despite Cameron’s slick PR job.
Back in 1985 (when tory leader Margaret Thatcher was in office) it wasn't much different. 63% of Tory MP's then had been to private schools. Then also, 6.6 per cent of UK pupils went to private schools as opposed to the 93.4% who received a state education. In 1985 15 out of the 22 Tory cabinet members had been to private schools.
