A different view of the NHS.
During August 2009, we saw a Tory MEP label the NHS as a 'terrible mistake', when he was interviewed on TV in the USA.
Here is a different view of the NHS courtesy of Michael Moore.
In September, the Tories promoted the MEP who condemned the NHS to a front bench job in Europe. He has recently quit the post, after another row in the Tory Party over Europe.
In December the American Senate voted to reform and expand its healthcare system, to help more people to acesss treatment.
Meanwhile here the Tories have chosen to scrap
patient guarantees, removing the right of people to see a cancer specialist within two weeks of seeing a GP.
